The muscle phone from Casio
All you adventure-seeking people get ready for the new toughie in the market. Verizon has come out with their much-anticipated successor to the ultra-rugged Casio G’zOne push-to-talk handset, the Verizon Casio G’zOne Boulder.
The G'zone Boulder is a cool gadget for $129.99 which includes 2-year contract and online discounts . Black-on-Silver is the only available color choice at the moment, but speculations are there that the Verizon is readying that bright-orange hunk for a later release.
The Casio G’zOne Boulder’s cosmetic updates, while significant and seriously eye-catching, aren’t the only thing in store for Verizon subscribers. It also gives military-spec shock, dust, and water resistance. The Casio G’zOne Boulder offers a 1.3MP camera(which was a VGA in its predecessor) , push-to-talk on the EVDO Rev.
A-based 3G access for instant conversation during a nature hike or field work. Also a cool thing is the digital compass that appears on the clamshell phone's external LCD for quicker trail navigation and the option of using the phone as an LED-based flashlight.
GPS navigation is expectedly standard on the Boulder media player software, and a microSD slot for media storage expand the feature set into the mid-range.
So,charge! All you crazy water-borne, sand-loving, adrenaline junkies and grab yourself the absolute standard in rugged mobiles.
