GPS for iPhone via WiFI



Now never get lost again! All you need is your iPhone and this cool GPS gadget. This is a GPS module for the iPhone called the LocoGPS. Since the bluetooth on iPhone is reserved for only wireless headset this cool gadget system uses WiFi to transmit data between the GPS receiver and iPhone. The GPS receiver integrates a processor, Wi-Fi antenna, and even a microSD card slot to store the maps just to activate the system. The navigation software itself will also be accessed via the WiFi GPS receiver using a web interface.The navigation software used and customized for LocoGPS is iGO 8.

The LocoGPS is brought out by the company called Gomite. It is available in the market now at a cost of 120 € with navigation software included….
